What Are the Age Requirements for Renting a Car in the Dominican Republic?
The legal driving age in the Dominican Republic is 18 years old.
Is a Deposit Required?
Our Security Deposit is based on the deductible for the Insurance. It ranges from $500 – $1,500.00 USD depending on the vehicle and insurance coverage.
How Do I Change or Cancel My Rental Car Reservation?
At Grandeliga, we pride ourselves on excellent customer service. To change or cancel your reservation, simply contact us and inform us of the change, and we’ll take care of the rest.
I’d Like To Extend My Reservation for a Few Days. Is That Possible?
Absolutely! If you’d like to keep your rental car for a few more days, just give us a call, and we’ll make the necessary adjustments.
Do I Need To Refuel the Vehicle Before Returning It?
Yes. Before returning your vehicle, simply return the car with the same amount of fuel it had as when you received it. You can also opt for our pre-paid fuel service.
How Do I Rent a Car?
Grandeliga makes it easy to rent a car with our streamlined rental car reservation process. Simply Choose your vehicle, inform us of your dates to confirm your reservation, and pick up your vehicle upon arrival.
What Insurance Options Do You Offer?
We offer 3 different levels of insurance so you can customize the protection on your rental:
1. Self-Insured- No daily cost, but requires a security deposit or credit card hold of $1,500.
2. Standard Liability- $10 per day and covers damages to third parties with $1,000 deductible.
3. Comprehensive- $35 per day and covers third parties and accidental coverage on the rental, with a $500 deductible.
